The roll of disciplinary hearings indicates the identity of the dentist, the nature of the complaint, the date, time and location of the hearings. Before attending, however, we recommend that you check to see if there have been any changes, by consulting the roll of hearings schedule.

Unless otherwise ordered, it is possible to have access to the documents contained in the disciplinary file, including the complaint, as of the first day of the hearing.

The decisions rendered by the Disciplinary Council since June 2001 are now accessible on the SOQUIJ site at http://citoyens.soquij.qc.ca or on the Canadian Legal Information Institute’s CanLII site at http://www.canlii.org/en.

Please note that the Disciplinary Council’s decisions may be appealed at the Professions Tribunal or judicially reviewed and may not, therefore, be final.

To check whether an ODQ member has been the subject of a disciplinary complaint or for any other information, please contact the Secretary of the Disciplinary Council at 514 875-8511 or 1 800 361-4887 (toll-free).

Message

REMOTE HEARINGS

Videoconference hearings via the TEAMS platform remain public.
