With the festivities celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Journées dentaires internationales du Québec (JDIQ) still fresh in our minds, the Planning Committee is well ahead in its preparations for the 2012 edition, to be held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from May 25 to 29.
Following the success of the extra day (Friday) added to the pre-convention program, this formula will be repeated once again in 2012. Consequently, you will be able to choose from a wide variety of courses based on a schedule which will perhaps be more convenient.
We believe that this additional day will fill the ever-increasing demand for continuing education without compromising the variety and quality of the courses already offered during the convention. These are two of the aspects that have helped to make the JDIQ the major event in dentistry in Canada for the past several years.
The Preliminary Program will be arriving in December, so check your mailbox. And be sure to follow us on Facebook!
We are looking forward to seeing you there!

The Journées dentaires internationales du Québec (JDIQ) are committed to protecting delegates’ personal information.
The JDIQ use delegates’ personal information only for purposes of organizing the event.
A delegate’s personal information, including name, address, e-mail address and telephone number, and whether or not he or she attended any of the activities organized under the auspices of the JDIQ, will be disclosed only with the delegate’s consent.
Aside from the general consent given when they register (on-line or on paper), delegates will have the opportunity to consent to such disclosure whenever they participate in an activity or training session by presenting their electronic registration badge for reading and validation when they arrive at the conference room:
- for continuing dental education (CDE) credits, to a JDIQ volunteer. The delegate may consent at that time to having his or her presence, as it is recorded at that point, communicated by the JDIQ following the AGREEMENT to the Ordre des dentistes du Québec or another professional order or association to which he or she belongs, for purposes of allocating CDE credits to his or her file;
- for purposes of commercial or philanthropic prospecting, to the representative of a speaker, exhibitor or sponsor. The delegate may consent at that time to having his or her name, telephone number and address communicated to the specific speaker, exhibitor or sponsor. The JDIQ agree to require of their speakers, exhibitors and sponsors that the personal information communicated to them will be used only for the commercial or philanthropic prospecting purposes declared to the JDIQ.
It is agreed that the JDIQ assumes no liability when delegates give their personal information to other parties without the participation/intervention of the JDIQ during the Convention. Furthermore, delegates may give or withdraw their consent for certain purposes at any time, by personally contacting the JDIQ at:
inscription@odq.qc.ca, 514 875-8511, ext. 2237.
